This study examined the relationship between students’ motivation in physical activity and their perceived quality of life, aiming to provide insights into how behavioral engagement influences holistic well-being. Employing a quantitative research design with a descriptive-correlational approach, the study involved 552 college students selected through simple random sampling to ensure representativeness. The respondents were composed of male and female students across various year levels, with ages typically ranging from late adolescence to early adulthood, reflecting the general demographic composition of higher education institutions. Most participants were enrolled in undergraduate programs and represented diverse academic disciplines, providing a broad perspective on student experiences. Data were collected using two validated instruments: a Physical Activity Motivation Questionnaire to assess intrinsic and extrinsic motivational factors, and a Quality of Life Questionnaire to evaluate multiple dimensions of well-being, including physical, cognitive–affective, social, and environmental domains. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to determine the levels of motivation and quality of life, while inferential statistics, specifically the Pearson product-moment correlation, were employed to examine the strength and direction of the relationship between the two variables. Findings revealed that students generally exhibited high motivation for physical activity and reported a high quality of life across all domains. Furthermore, a significant positive relationship was observed between motivation in physical activity and quality of life, indicating that higher motivation is associated with greater overall well-being.
