About the Journal

Sportis. Scientific Journal of School Sport, Physical Education and Psychomotricity (Sportis Sci J) is an international, monthly journal indexed in major international databases (WoS, Scopus, EBSCO, etc.) and awarded the FECYT Quality Seal by the Government of Spain.

Its aim is to publish and disseminate research articles related to Physical Education, Sport Sciences, and Psychomotricity in children, adolescents, and adults.

The journal accepts manuscripts in Spanish and English covering analytical research (theoretical reviews, historical studies, or syntheses), quantitative research, experimental research, and/or qualitative research. All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process.

It is published by Campus Educa Sportis, based in Spain.

SPORTIS Reaches Its Highest-Ever Journal Impact Factor in Journal Citation Reports (JCR)

SPORTIS – Scientific Journal of School Sport, Physical Education and Psychomotricity has achieved its highest historical performance in the 2026 edition of the Journal Citation Reports (JCR), published by Clarivate Analytics, obtaining a Journal Impact Factor (JIF) of 1.0.

This achievement places SPORTIS in Quartile 3 (Q3) within its corresponding Web of Science category, further consolidating the journal’s growth, visibility, and international recognition.

This milestone is the result of the collective efforts of our authors, reviewers, editorial board members, and readers, whose dedication and commitment help maintain the highest standards of scientific quality, methodological rigor, and academic impact.
