De la coreografía a la computación: un análisis bibliométrico de la inteligencia artificial en la investigación sobre danza

La inteligencia artificial ha influido cada vez más en la investigación sobre danza mediante avances en la captura e imagen del movimiento, la visión por computadora, la estimación de poses, la realidad virtual, la coreografía generativa y la interacción humano–IA. El presente artículo realiza un análisis bibliométrico de la inteligencia artificial en la investigación sobre danza a partir de documentos indexados en Scopus entre 2000 y 2025. Tras el proceso de selección y depuración, se conservaron 2,445 artículos, revisiones y ponencias en inglés de los 7,300 registros exportados inicialmente. Bibliometrix/Biblioshiny se utilizó para el análisis bibliométrico descriptivo, mientras que VOSviewer se empleó para visualizar redes de coautoría, coocurrencia de palabras clave, acoplamiento bibliográfico y cocitación. La producción científica anual aumentó considerablemente, con mayor aceleración después de 2020. La literatura se concentró en espacios relacionados con la informática, la interacción humano–computadora, la ingeniería, la multimedia y la performance digital, lo que refleja el desarrollo interdisciplinario y tecnológico del campo. Los patrones de colaboración revelaron una red internacionalmente activa, aunque conectada de manera desigual, con la colaboración entre autores concentrada en conglomerados relativamente pequeños. El análisis de coocurrencia de palabras clave identificó 13 clústeres conceptuales relacionados con el reconocimiento del movimiento, la captura de movimiento, la realidad virtual, el aprendizaje automático, la coreografía generativa, la pedagogía inmersiva, la preservación cultural, la rehabilitación, los sensores portables y la interacción humano–IA. El acoplamiento bibliográfico identificó siete comunidades de fuentes, mientras que el análisis de cocitación mostró que la base intelectual se concentró en la generación de danza a partir de música, la síntesis de movimiento, el entrenamiento virtual en danza, el aprendizaje profundo, el modelado del movimiento humano y la IA generativa. En conjunto, la investigación sobre IA en danza ha evolucionado desde aplicaciones aisladas asistidas por tecnología hacia un campo interdisciplinario en expansión. Las investigaciones futuras deberán evaluar la eficacia pedagógica, artística, ética, cultural y práctica de la IA en la educación en danza, la coreografía, la performance, la preservación del patrimonio y la rehabilitación.
