This study aimed to analyze in depth and detail the direct relationship between energy sufficiency and training intensity on the physical endurance of taekwondo athletes. A rigorous cross-sectional quantitative methodological design was used, involving the voluntary participation of 85 taekwondo athletes aged 16–18 years, carefully selected through total sampling. Energy sufficiency was accurately assessed using a 2 × 24-hour dietary recall method. Statistical analysis revealed a positive and positively relationship between energy sufficiency levels and physical endurance (r = 0.264; p = 0.015). Conversely, no positively relationship was found between training intensity and physical endurance (r = −0.122; p = 0.267). The conclusion of this study indicates that energy sufficiency is positively related to physical endurance in taekwondo athletes, highlighting the importance of optimal nutrition. On the other hand, the intensity of training, measured using the Borg CR-10 scale, did not show a statistically positively relationship in this sample, possibly due to the homogeneous distribution of this variable among the participants.
