La relación entre el nivel de adecuación energética y la intensidad del entrenamiento físico con la resistencia física de los atletas de taekwondo

Este estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar en profundidad y detallar la relación directa entre la suficiencia energética y la intensidad del entrenamiento en la resistencia física de los atletas de taekwondo. Este estudio utilizó un diseño metodológico cuantitativo transversal riguroso, que involucró la participación voluntaria de 85 atletas de taekwondo de entre 16 y 18 años, cuidadosamente seleccionados mediante muestreo total. La suficiencia energética se evaluó con precisión utilizando un método de recordatorio dietético de 2 × 24 horas. El análisis estadístico reveló una relación positiva y significativa entre los niveles de suficiencia energética y la resistencia física (r = 0,264; p = 0,015). Por el contrario, no se encontró una relación significativa entre la intensidad del entrenamiento y la resistencia física (r = −0,122; p = 0,267). La conclusión de este estudio indica que la suficiencia energética está positivamente relacionada con la resistencia física en los atletas de taekwondo, lo que resalta la importancia de una nutrición óptima. Por otro lado, la intensidad del entrenamiento, medida mediante la escala Borg CR-10, no mostró una relación estadísticamente significativa en esta muestra, posiblemente debido a la distribución homogénea de esta variable entre los participantes.
